Discovering the Power in Me helps people with mobility disabilities:
  • Understand how the mind works
  • Improve how they see themselves
  • Find new and better ways to motivate themselves
  • Set future goals
  • Develop more confidence
  • What's the buzz?

CPA (NB) Inc. is delivering an education program, Discovering the Power in Me™, created by The Pacific Institute, that will help build confidence and effectiveness, and provide tools for personal growth and development.

So, what is the Pacific Institute?

For over 35 years, The Pacific Institute (PI) has been a world leader in empowering individuals to recognize their ability for growth and personal excellence.

    And what is this program?

Discovering the Power in MeTM (DPM) is a program that gives people with mobility disabilities, their families and others sharing their journey the tools to develop the inner strength and capacity required to take control over their lives. DPM is a program that teaches people to manage change, set and achieve goals, be more effective, and think in ways to create success. It’s all about setting goals and planning the future you want!

    Who is this good for?

This program was designed for people with mobility disabilities who are “stuck” in certain aspects of their lives. Having trouble getting motivated? Are you always repeating the same routine and want something different? Are you ready to take control over your own life and live it to its full potential? Then Discovering the Power in MeTM is for you!

A bit more information about the DPM sessions…

The DPM program will be delivered in two-day sessions throughout the province, free of charge. By taking the program, you will learn how the mind works and its power. By changing your way of thinking you can become more effective, increase motivation and create the future you want. DPM will provide you with the tools to do so.

There will be ongoing support after the seminar to ensure that you have the proper resources and support when pursuing your goals. Monthly conference calls between participants will provide an opportunity to share successes, challenges and resources. You will also be connected with a CPA (NB) Rehabilitation Counsellor that will provide resources and assistance to help you achieve your goals.
