Please join us in this important awareness and fundraising initiative for community-based rehabilitation services in New Brunswick. Over 82,300 New Brunswickers over the age of 15 have a disability related to mobility - 11% of the population! We are leaders in reaching out and responding to the needs of persons with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities and their families throughout New Brunswick. We help individuals and families find safe, affordable, accessible housing; apply to funding programs to modify their homes or obtain appropriate equipment; meet others with similar disabilities; get involved in recreation activities and/or explore education and employment options.
During the year, schools, colleges, universities, businesses and government departments are encouraged to schedule a Friday or a series of Fridays as Dress Down/Casual Days with proceeds going to the CPA (N.B.) Inc. You set the terms – some organizations have staff and/or students donate a dollar for each Casual/Dress Down Day. Some organizations hold crazy hat days! Some also match the donation made by employees and students. Others choose to make a fixed donation on behalf of staff and/or students! It’s that easy!
We can provide you with organizational pamphlets and Casual/Dress Down Day stickers. Charitable receipts for income tax purposes for donations over $20 can also be issued on request.
Don’t miss out! Please join the many New Brunswickers that have supported our work by participating in Dress Down/Casual Days. Simply fill out this participant registration PFD form and fax it to us at as soon as possible! For more information, please do not hesitate to contact us at 1-866-462-9555 or cpanb@cpanb.ca .
In order to minimize the costs of mailing and staff time, receipts are only issued for donations of $20 and over, unless otherwise requested.
Cheques can be made payable to: Canadian Paraplegic Association (N.B.) Inc.
